ABOUT

Member Dan and Member Jerry reunited during the pandemic, after a 15-year hiatus from making music together. They were first introduced to each other in the early 2000s by Dan's girlfriend (now wife), and the two quickly bonded over similar musical interests. The pair played together in the band The Show Me State before jobs, families, and the usual complications of being in a band led them to part ways.

As coronavirus swept across the world in 2020, with a tangible sense of mortality, the duo rekindled their friendship. With Dan now living in the Midwest, and Jerry in the San Francisco Bay Area, the two reunited through video calls and soon began exchanging recordings with each other.

Seventh Studio Album is the result of a yearlong collaboration completed entirely by sharing recordings over the internet. In it, the duo reflect on their past and future making music together, the passage of time, and the twists and turns of friendship through a lifetime.
